Description

EcoFlow's flagship TITAN: 7.2kW, up to 10kW with solar, 5kW on a single 120V leg and 8kW of solar input.

The EcoFlow TITAN 5000 Plus is the flagship of EcoFlow's TITAN home battery series, built for multi-day backup and bigger everyday savings. It delivers 7,200W of 120V/240V split-phase power — up to 10,000W when battery and solar work together — with 5kW available on a single 120V leg (X-Boost 2.0), so a compatible 3-ton central AC, refrigerator and the rest of your home run together with no soft starter. Two solar inputs take up to 8kW, the built-in 5 kWh LFP battery expands to 30 kWh, and with the Smart Home Panel 10 (240V) it backs up 10 selected circuits automatically and works with the grid and your existing rooftop solar to lower your bill every day.

Why the TITAN 5000 Plus

  • Whole-home backup with headroom: 7.2–10kW output and 5kW single-circuit capacity power a compatible 3-ton central AC, refrigerator and the rest of your home at the same time, with no soft starter required.
  • Whole-home savings: With 8kW of solar input and grid integration through Smart Home Panel 10, EcoFlow estimates savings of up to $3,100 a year with payback in as little as 3 years (see the note below).
  • About 30% of the cost of a traditional system: An industry-first 200V architecture, custom high-rate 2C LFP cells, silicon-carbide (SiC) power electronics and a factory pre-wired Smart Home Panel 10 cut cost across purchase, installation and long-term use.
  • OASIS 3.0 energy manager: Learns your household's habits, forecasts solar up to 3 days ahead, charges off-peak and powers your home at peak rates. 10-circuit control lets you direct backup power where it matters most (some features are an EcoFlow app subscription).
  • Storm Mode: Turn it on and TITAN alerts you and charges to 100% ahead of severe weather, switches to battery in under 20 ms when the grid drops, and can trim non-essential circuits to stretch your backup.
  • North America's highest safety standards: UL 9540A tested and UL 9540 certified, with EV-grade LFP cells, 24/7 battery management monitoring and a 5-year warranty.

Please note: AC coupling with an existing rooftop solar system requires the Smart Home Panel 10 (240V) and a CT sensor. TITAN 5000 Plus has no USB ports.

Three ways to keep it charged

  • Solar: connect compatible panels directly to TITAN's solar input — this keeps working during an outage, unlike a grid-tied rooftop system that shuts down for anti-islanding protection.
  • Wall / grid: charge from AC with the included cable, or let OASIS 3.0 charge when electricity is cheapest.
  • Generator: EcoFlow rates TITAN about 99% compatible with generators, EcoFlow or third-party, using the included AC charging cable.

Home integration with Smart Home Panel 10 (240V)

TITAN works on its own — plug appliances straight into its outlets. Add the Smart Home Panel 10 and it connects to up to 10 selected household circuits for automatic backup in 20 ms or less, circuit-by-circuit control in the EcoFlow app, and (on TITAN and TITAN Plus) everyday energy management with the grid. The panel arrives factory pre-wired with breakers, monitoring and a built-in CT sensor, so your electrician has less to source and assemble on site. Installing and wiring the panel into your home requires a qualified, licensed electrician. Already have rooftop solar or another home battery? With the panel, TITAN uses AC coupling to work alongside compatible existing equipment instead of replacing it.

Built to cost less over its life

  • 200V platform, 2C cells: higher voltage and lower current deliver more power with less heat; LFP and larger cells mean more balanced charging and fewer potential points of failure.
  • SiC power electronics: the same silicon-carbide semiconductor technology used in modern electric vehicles.
  • 3D integration: more power in less space, with fewer connections.
  • Modular and movable: start at 5 kWh and add batteries as needs grow, with plug-in connections. Moving house? Take TITAN and its batteries with you — only the hardwired panel needs an electrician.

Bundle options

  • TITAN 5000 Plus: The main unit on its own.
  • + Smart Home Panel 10 (240V): Adds the 10-circuit smart panel for automatic whole-home backup, circuit control, grid savings and AC coupling with existing solar. Panel installation requires a licensed electrician.
  • + 2 × 220W Portable Solar Panel: Two EcoFlow 220W bifacial portable panels to recharge straight into TITAN during a long outage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which TITAN is right for me: Classic, TITAN or TITAN Plus?

TITAN Classic covers 120V essentials such as the refrigerator, lights, Wi-Fi and computers. TITAN adds 120V/240V output (7.2kW) for 240V appliances, including compatible 3-ton central air conditioners, with up to 4kW of solar input. TITAN Plus adds up to 8kW of solar across two inputs, more power on a single 120V leg and up to 10kW output when battery and solar work together. All three start at 5 kWh and expand to 30 kWh.

Can the TITAN 5000 Plus really run my central air conditioning?

Yes. TITAN and TITAN Plus deliver 7.2kW of 120V/240V output and can start and run a compatible 3-ton central air conditioner without a soft starter, provided its startup requirements are within the unit's capabilities. TITAN Plus reaches up to 10kW when battery and solar supply power together.

Can I start with one TITAN and add batteries later?

Yes. Each TITAN includes a 5 kWh battery and supports up to five TITAN Battery 5kWh expansion batteries for 30 kWh total. Expansion batteries need the matching connection cables (sold separately). Adding batteries increases runtime, not the main unit's rated output.

Can I use TITAN on its own? What does the Smart Home Panel 10 add?

Yes, plug appliances directly into TITAN's outlets; its EPS switches to battery within 10 ms if utility power drops. The Smart Home Panel 10 (240V) connects TITAN to up to 10 selected home circuits for automatic backup within 20 ms, circuit control in the EcoFlow app and everyday energy management with the grid and solar.

Do I need an electrician?

Using TITAN on its own to power appliances directly is a set-up-yourself job using the product guide. Installing and wiring the Smart Home Panel 10 into your home's electrical system requires a qualified, licensed electrician; you can hire your own local installer.

How do I recharge TITAN during a long outage?

Connect solar panels directly to TITAN's solar input (within its input limits), or run an EcoFlow or third-party generator into it with the included AC charging cable. A grid-tied rooftop solar system shuts down during an outage, so it can't recharge TITAN through that connection.

I already have rooftop solar or a home battery. Will TITAN work with it?

Yes. Paired with the Smart Home Panel 10 (240V), TITAN and TITAN Plus use AC coupling to work alongside compatible existing rooftop solar or a home battery, storing daytime solar for evening and peak-rate hours. Your installer confirms the connection setup.

Is TITAN safe in my home or garage, and how loud is it?

TITAN uses thermally stable LFP cells with a battery management system and multiple electrical protections. Main units carry UL 2743, UL 1973 and UL 9540 certification and are tested to UL 9540A. Place it in a dry, ventilated indoor spot within its temperature range. In EcoFlow's testing at 1 meter, TITAN Classic runs below 30 dB at 2,000W, TITAN below 39 dB at 3,600W and TITAN Plus below 39 dB at 5,000W.

What warranty does TITAN have?

TITAN main units, TITAN Battery 5kWh and the Smart Home Panel 10 each carry EcoFlow's 5-year warranty.

How does TITAN ship?

The TITAN 5000 Plus weighs about 121.3 lb, so it ships by freight. Bundles with solar panels or the Smart Home Panel 10 may arrive in more than one shipment.
