Description

Adjustable 68 MOA Reticle with a 2.0 MOA Dot on a Full Co-Witness Mount, 3x Magnifier with Quick Release Flip-to-Side Mount

The Trijicon Miniature Rifle Optic (MRO®) is a reflex-style, sealed sight intended for use on rifles, carbines, and shotguns to provide fast target acquisition. It is designed to be used with both eyes open, providing the operator with maximum situational awareness. The large aperture and tapered light path maximizes the viewing area in such a small optic, allowing for fast target engagement – especially from non-standard shooting positions. It also features ambidextrous brightness controls, sub-flush adjusters, advanced lens coatings, and a fully sealed, waterproof, hard anodized forged 7075-T6 housing, making the MRO the ultimate mini reflex sight.

The MRO HD is optimized for use with a magnifier, with a re-engineered objective lens to produce a refined 2.0 MOA center dot surrounded by a 68 MOA segmented circle reticle. The ambidextrous reticle and brightness control allows the user to choose between a full reticle or center dot only.

The Trijicon Miniature Rifle Optic (MRO®) HD Magnifier is a 3 power reflex optic magnifier specifically designed to magnify the target and target seen through the MRO HD red dot optic. By magnifying the target the shooter is able to use the crisp dot in the MRO HD to quickly and accurately engage targets at extended distances. The MRO HD Magnifier is short and compact which saves weight and rail space. The design features easy-to-set flush, toolless adjusters that make centering the reticle in the field of view easy. The adjustable diopter allows the user to tune the optical performance to their eyes.

The 3x magnifier also includes a multi position, military-grade flip-to-side quick release levered mount which makes mounting and unmounting the optic from the host platform quick and easy. This mount is also designed to flip into place over the top of back up iron sights commonly used on modern sporting rifles. Each magnifier includes a riser plate and additional fasteners to allow the optic to align with either 1/3rd or Full Co-Witness MRO HD mounts.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Trijicon MRO® HD 1x25 Red Dot Sight improve target acquisition?

The Trijicon MRO® HD 1x25 Red Dot Sight is designed to enhance target acquisition by allowing users to keep both eyes open while aiming. This design provides maximum situational awareness, which is crucial in dynamic environments. The large aperture and tapered light path maximize the viewing area, reducing the 'tube effect' that can occur with smaller optics. This feature is particularly beneficial in non-standard shooting positions, where quick and accurate target engagement is essential. For more on improving your tactical gear setup, visit our Red Dot Sights guide.

What are the benefits of using the 3x Magnifier with the MRO® HD?

The 3x Magnifier paired with the MRO® HD enhances the optic's versatility by allowing for quick transitions between close-quarters and medium-range engagements. This setup is ideal for scenarios where targets may appear at varying distances. The magnifier's quick-release flip-to-side mount enables the shooter to quickly switch from a magnified to a non-magnified view, maintaining flexibility in the field. For more on optical accessories, see our Magnifiers collection.

How does the MRO® HD's reticle design aid in target engagement?

The MRO® HD features a re-engineered objective lens that provides a refined 2.0 MOA center dot surrounded by a 68 MOA segmented circle reticle. This design allows users to choose between a full reticle or center dot only, depending on the shooting scenario. The segmented circle can help in quickly centering the dot on the target, which is particularly useful in fast-paced environments. For more insights on choosing the right optics, explore our Rifle Scope guide.

What makes the MRO® HD suitable for harsh environments?

The MRO® HD is built with a forged 7075-T6 aluminum housing, which is fully sealed and waterproof, making it robust enough to withstand tough conditions. Its construction includes advanced lens coatings and a dry nitrogen fill to prevent fogging and ensure clarity in various weather conditions. This durability makes it a reliable choice for both tactical and survival scenarios. For more on maintaining your gear in challenging environments, check out our Tactical Survival Gear guide.

Can the MRO® HD be used with night vision equipment?

Yes, the MRO® HD is equipped with multiple brightness settings, including four night vision-compatible settings.
