TACTICAL III and F CLASS SPINNER ACCESSORY

This Single Spinner Accessory is intended for our 3 plate silhouettes… but works for everything else.

Our single sided spinner rack is available by itself or as a package. Choose from packages that include one of our modular bases and two types of spinners. Made of AR500 steel and able to withstand thousands of rifle and pistol rounds.*

This target has been specifically designed to be used with the TACTICAL III and F-CLASS targets so as not to interfere with the bottom GUT shot paddle (silhouettes not included/sold separately).

*For rifle calibers 5.56 and up, MR TARGET recommends a minimum 100y distance for safety and longevity of your target.  Spinners will arrive unpainted.

Spinners available: 2 paddle and 3 paddle.

NOTE: TACTICAL III and F CLASS TARGETS NOT INCLUDED / SOLD SEPARATELY

SELECT A BASE

The secret to a good target is an excellent base (yeah, we trademarked that).  We recommend one of our modular armored bases for greatest ease of use, sturdiness, and reliability.  Our uprights pull right out of our H-bases allowing you to lay them flat in your truck, case, or bag and put them back together in seconds without tools.

Want a more permanent option? Pound the upright right into the ground or lay it in with some concrete.  The AR500 plating will protect your armored target base, deflecting thousands of pistol and rifle rounds (seriously, you’ll be handing this thing down to your grandkids).

Want to shave off weight and save time?  Check out our Quick Deploy Base System.  Two AR500 QD plates with integrated carrying handles and the ability to accommodate 1″ pipe extension legs to raise this target as high as you need. The pyramid-style base is designed to become more stable the taller you get.

QUICK DEPLOY BASE

The Quick Deploy Base System is made of two AR500 plates with integrated carry handles. The plates can work stand-alone, or they can accommodate 1" pipe leg extensions. The pyramid shape is designed to create more stability the taller you get. Simple, fast, and virtually indestructible.

TALL ARMORED BASE

Standing at 40” tall, this target base will raise your target to a more natural shooting position to promote muscle memory for close quarters training. This base has an armored center post to withstand thousands of rifle and handgun rounds.

FULLY ARMORED RANGE BASE

This target base is armored from top to bottom. Great protection for long range rifle, commercial ranges, rental targets, and FULL AUTO. No stray bullets will be punching holes in this base. 30″ tall.

ARMORED BASE

This base has a low-profile armored center post that withstands every kind of abuse and will work with any of our reactive or plate targets. 30” tall.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the primary purpose of the Mr. Target Tactical III and F Class Spinner?

AR500 steel is renowned for its durability and ability to withstand repeated impacts. This makes it ideal for constructing shooting targets that need to endure thousands of rounds. The steel's hardness ensures that the spinner maintains its shape and functionality over time, even when used with high-caliber firearms. However, it's important to maintain a minimum shooting distance of 100 yards with rifle calibers 5.56 and up to ensure safety and prolong the target's lifespan.

What are the different spinner configurations available?

The Mr. Target Tactical III and F Class Spinner offers two configurations: a 2-paddle and a 3-paddle spinner. These configurations allow shooters to vary their training by changing the difficulty and type of feedback received. The 3-paddle option provides more reactive surfaces, which can be beneficial for advanced training scenarios that require rapid target engagement and assessment.

How should the spinner be set up for optimal use?

For optimal use, the spinner should be mounted on a stable base to prevent movement during shooting. The modular bases recommended by Mr. Target offer the flexibility to either lay the target flat for transport or secure it permanently in place. The base's design allows for quick assembly and disassembly, making it convenient for both temporary setups and permanent installations. Consider using the Quick Deploy Base System if you need a portable yet stable solution.

Why is it important to maintain a minimum shooting distance?

Maintaining a minimum shooting distance is crucial for safety and target longevity. Shooting at a target from too close a range can result in ricochets and potential injury. Additionally, it can cause excessive wear on the target, reducing its lifespan. For rifle calibers 5.56 and up, a minimum distance of 100 yards is recommended to prevent damage to the spinner and ensure safe shooting conditions.

For more safety tips and guidelines, check out our Security: Training & Targets collection.

Can the spinner be used with any type of firearm?

The spinner is designed to withstand impacts from both rifle and pistol rounds. However, it is essential to adhere to the recommended shooting distances, especially when using high-caliber rifles, to avoid damaging the target. The AR500 steel construction allows it to handle a wide range of calibers, making it versatile for various shooting practices. Always ensure that the ammunition used is appropriate for the target's specifications.

What maintenance does the spinner require?

Regular maintenance of the spinner involves checking for any signs of wear and ensuring all components are securely fastened. After extensive use, inspect the spinner for any cracks or deformations in the steel. It's also advisable to repaint the target periodically to maintain visibility and protect against rust. Keeping the spinner clean and dry when not in use will help extend its lifespan.

How does the Quick Deploy Base System enhance the spinner's usability?

The Quick Deploy Base System offers a portable and stable solution for setting up your spinner. Its design includes integrated carry handles and the ability to accommodate pipe extension legs, allowing you to adjust the target height as needed. The pyramid shape provides increased stability, especially when the target is elevated. This system is ideal for shooters who require a quick and easy setup without sacrificing stability.
