At the core of the Shaman Salt is a broad, full-flat-ground blade crafted from CPM® MagnaCut® steel—a next-generation particle metallurgy steel engineered to deliver an exceptional balance of toughness, edge retention, and industry-leading corrosion resistance. To further reduce glare and visual signature, the blade is finished with a Diamond-Like Carbon (DLC) coating, making it well-suited for tactical and low-visibility environments.

The handle features contoured black G-10 scales over nested, skeletonized stainless steel liners. Spyderco’s signature Caribbean Bi-Directional Texture™ provides a secure, non-slip grip even with wet or gloved hands. The liners form the foundation of Spyderco’s proven Compression Lock®, delivering exceptional strength and safe, one-handed operation.
