Description

The Sharps Bros. grip module for the P365 XMacro is a premium upgrade designed to enhance the ergonomics and performance of your firearm. The G3 model represents the next evolution of the platform, featuring significantly improved ergonomics, more aggressive grip panel texturing, a redesigned steel lug system, and provisions for a mag funnel. This grip module is machined from billet 7075-T6 Aluminum and finished with an M81 camouflage Cerakote, complemented by black aluminum grip panels.

The enhanced trigger-guard geometry with undercut and finger grooves provides improved comfort and control. Ambidextrous thumb ledges offer a natural indexing point for either hand, licensed under U.S. Patent No. 9,194,649. The module is 1.3 inches wide, offering a robust feel without compromising concealability. It includes an M1913 Picatinny accessory rail and a flared magazine well for added functionality.

These ergonomic enhancements ensure a secure and comfortable hold, which is crucial in high-stress situations.

Is the Sharps Bros Grip Module compatible with all P365 models?

The Sharps Bros Grip Module is specifically designed for compatibility with the P365 XL and X Macro slides. It serves as a direct replacement for the Sig Sauer OEM standard polymer grip module of these models. Users will need to ensure their firearm setup matches these specifications for proper installation and use.

What materials are used in the construction of the Sharps Bros Grip Module?

The Sharps Bros Grip Module is constructed from high-quality 7075-T6 Aluminum. This material is known for its strength and durability, making it an excellent choice for firearm components. The grip panels are made from black aluminum, providing a sleek contrast to the M81 camouflage Cerakote finish. This combination of materials ensures the grip module is both lightweight and resilient, capable of withstanding the rigors of regular use.

What should be considered when installing the Sharps Bros Grip Module?

When installing the Sharps Bros Grip Module, it's important to ensure compatibility with your firearm's existing components. The module does not include a Fire Control Unit or a magazine release assembly, so you'll need to reuse your stock assembly or purchase new ones. Proper installation is crucial for maintaining the functionality and safety of your firearm.

How does the M81 camouflage Cerakote finish benefit the grip module?

The M81 camouflage Cerakote finish on the Sharps Bros Grip Module provides both aesthetic and practical benefits. Cerakote is a ceramic-based coating known for its durability and resistance to corrosion, scratches, and chemicals. The M81 camouflage pattern not only enhances the tactical appearance of the firearm but also helps in blending with natural environments, which can be advantageous in hunting or tactical scenarios. This finish ensures that the grip module maintains its appearance and performance over time.

What are the advantages of the flared magazine well on this grip module?

The flared magazine well on the Sharps Bros Grip Module offers significant advantages for quick reloads. The flared design minimizes the risk of fumbling or misalignment during magazine changes, enhancing overall performance.

How does the grip module's width affect its usability for concealed carry?

The Sharps Bros Grip Module has a width of 1.3 inches, which balances robustness and concealability. While the module provides a solid and comfortable grip, its design does not significantly increase the firearm's profile, making it suitable for concealed carry. Users will appreciate the enhanced control and comfort without compromising the ability to discreetly carry the firearm. However, personal preference and body type may influence how easily it can be concealed under clothing.

What role does the M1913 Picatinny accessory rail play in this grip module?

The M1913 Picatinny accessory rail on the Sharps Bros Grip Module provides a platform for attaching various tactical accessories. This rail allows users to customize their firearm with lights, lasers, or other compatible attachments, enhancing the firearm's versatility and adaptability to different scenarios. The ability to quickly and securely attach accessories can be crucial in both defensive and tactical situations, allowing for improved target acquisition and situational awareness.

Why is the redesigned steel lug system important in the Sharps Bros Grip Module?

The redesigned steel lug system in the Sharps Bros Grip Module enhances the structural integrity and durability of the firearm. This system provides a more secure connection between the grip module and the slide, ensuring consistent performance and reliability.
