Radian Weapons - GUARDIAN Optic Mount & Guard for GLOCK, Black

The TRU-SEAL technology in the Radian Weapons GUARDIAN Optic Mount provides a watertight seal without the need for an additional sealing plate. This is achieved through integrated O-rings on the mounting screws, which prevent moisture and corrosion from affecting the mounting threads. In real-world scenarios, this ensures that your optic remains securely attached and functional even in adverse weather conditions, such as heavy rain or high humidity environments. This feature is particularly beneficial for users who operate in diverse outdoor settings where exposure to the elements is unavoidable.

The STUD-LOK mounting interface offers a secure attachment system with extended thread engagement and increased shear resistance. This is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the optic mount during high-stress activities such as tactical training or competitive shooting. By providing greater hold-down power, the STUD-LOK system minimizes the risk of the optic becoming loose or misaligned, ensuring consistent performance and accuracy. This feature is particularly important for users who require reliable equipment in dynamic situations.

The SIX Backup Sights integrated into the GUARDIAN Optic Mount provide a reliable alternative for target acquisition if the primary red dot optic fails. These sights feature an anti-glare, anti-snag design that ensures they remain unobtrusive until needed. Their ultra-low co-witness capability allows users to maintain a clear sight picture without obstruction. This is particularly advantageous in tactical or self-defense scenarios where quick and precise target acquisition is critical. The backup sights ensure that users are not left vulnerable in the event of an optic malfunction.

The GUARDIAN Optic Mount is constructed from 7075 Aluminum with a Type III Hard Anodized finish. This combination provides superior strength and durability, making it well-suited for rigorous use in various environments. The 7075 Aluminum is known for its high strength-to-weight ratio, ensuring the mount is both lightweight and robust. The Type III Hard Anodized finish adds an extra layer of protection against wear and corrosion, extending the lifespan of the mount. This construction is ideal for users who demand long-lasting performance from their tactical gear.

The GUARDIAN Optic Mount is specifically designed for full-size MOS GLOCK handguns. It is not compatible with Slimline or Gen6 GLOCK models. This specificity ensures that the mount fits securely and functions optimally with the intended models. Users with different GLOCK models should verify compatibility or consider alternative mounting solutions to ensure proper fit and performance. Compatibility is crucial for maintaining the integrity and reliability of the optic system.

The installation of the GUARDIAN Optic Mount requires the use of custom-machined stainless steel fasteners with oversized Torx sockets. These fasteners facilitate easy installation while ensuring a secure and stable attachment. Users should ensure they have the appropriate tools, such as a Torx driver, to properly install the mount. Proper installation is critical to prevent any loosening or shifting of the optic during use, which could compromise accuracy and reliability. Following the manufacturer's installation guidelines will help maintain optimal performance.

The GUARDIAN Optic Mount is designed to withstand adverse environmental conditions through its robust construction and innovative sealing technologies. The use of 7075 Aluminum and Type III Hard Anodized finish provides excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. Additionally, the TRU-SEAL technology ensures that moisture and debris do not compromise the mount's integrity. This makes the mount suitable for use in harsh environments, such as wet or dusty conditions, where equipment reliability is paramount. Users can trust the mount to perform consistently, even when exposed to challenging elements.

The ultra-low co-witness design of the GUARDIAN Optic Mount allows for a seamless transition between the optic and backup sights. This design ensures that the backup sights remain unobtrusive and do not interfere with the primary optic's sight picture. In scenarios where the red dot optic may fail, users can quickly align the backup sights without adjusting their shooting stance or head position. This feature is particularly beneficial in high-pressure situations where speed and accuracy are crucial, providing users with confidence and reliability in their equipment.

The GUARDIAN Optic Mount is specifically designed to be compatible with Holosun EPS optics. This ensures a secure and precise fit, allowing users to take full advantage of the optic's features. The mount's design accommodates the specific dimensions and mounting requirements of the Holosun EPS, providing a stable platform for optimal performance. Users can rely on this compatibility to maintain accuracy and consistency in their shooting, knowing that their optic is securely and correctly mounted.

When selecting the GUARDIAN Optic Mount for tactical use, consider the specific requirements of your operational environment. The mount's robust construction and innovative features make it suitable for high-stress situations, but users should ensure compatibility with their firearm and optic. Additionally, understanding the mounting process and having the necessary tools for installation are crucial for maintaining the system's integrity. Tactical users should also evaluate the need for backup sights and the benefits of the mount's ultra-low co-witness design to ensure it meets their operational needs effectively.
