Radian Weapons - AFTERBURNER + RAMJET for GLOCK G17 Gen4 - Black

The AFTERBURNER & RAMJET combo enhances shooting accuracy through its integrated design that reduces recoil and improves stability. The compensator and barrel work in tandem to minimize muzzle rise and recoil, allowing for quicker follow-up shots. This is particularly beneficial in both competitive shooting and self-defense scenarios where precision and speed are critical. The match-grade accuracy of the RAMJET barrel ensures that each shot is consistent and reliable, making it an excellent choice for those seeking to optimize their Glock 17 Gen4's performance.

The AFTERBURNER compensator is crafted from hardened stainless steel, and the RAMJET barrel is made from hardened 416R stainless steel. These materials are chosen for their high hardness and excellent corrosion resistance, which are further enhanced by the Radianite coating. This combination ensures that the components can withstand the high pressures and temperatures generated during firing, providing long-lasting durability and reducing wear over time. The low friction properties of the coating also facilitate smoother operation and easier maintenance.

Yes, the AFTERBURNER & RAMJET combo is designed for effortless installation and removal thanks to its threadless design. The INTRA-LOK system utilizes a tapered locking screw that interfaces with an angled V-groove on the barrel, allowing for a secure and repeatable lock down. This makes it simple to remove the barrel from the slide for cleaning without the need for specialized tools. This user-friendly feature is particularly advantageous for those who frequently clean their firearms or need to quickly disassemble their weapon in the field.

The INTRA-LOK system is a revolutionary mounting mechanism that uses a taper lock principle for secure attachment. It involves a tapered locking screw that interfaces with an angled V-groove on the barrel's underside, ensuring that the compensator is perfectly timed and locked down onto the barrel's upper profile. This system not only simplifies installation but also enhances the overall performance by maintaining a consistent alignment, which is crucial for accuracy and reliability. The design also allows for easy removal, making maintenance straightforward.

The angled front face of the AFTERBURNER compensator is specifically designed to assist with holstering. This feature reduces snagging and allows for a smoother re-holstering process, which is particularly beneficial in high-stress situations where speed and efficiency are paramount. The design ensures that the firearm can be quickly and safely secured in a holster, making it ideal for concealed carry and tactical applications.

The AFTERBURNER & RAMJET combo is designed to fit the Glock 17 Gen4 and is compatible with many aftermarket slides. This versatility allows users to customize their firearm setup according to their preferences and needs. However, it's important to verify compatibility with specific aftermarket slide models to ensure proper fit and function. This adaptability makes the combo a popular choice for enthusiasts looking to enhance their Glock 17 Gen4 with precision and performance upgrades.

The Radianite coating applied to the AFTERBURNER & RAMJET components offers several key benefits. It provides a low friction surface that enhances the smooth operation of the firearm, reducing the likelihood of jamming or misfeeds. Additionally, the high corrosion resistance afforded by the coating protects the components from environmental factors, ensuring longevity and reliability even in harsh conditions. This makes the combo particularly suitable for users who require dependable performance in diverse environments.

The recoil reduction feature of the AFTERBURNER & RAMJET significantly enhances shooting performance by minimizing muzzle rise. This allows shooters to maintain better control over their firearm, resulting in faster and more accurate follow-up shots. In competitive shooting or defensive scenarios, this can be a decisive advantage, as it reduces the time needed to reacquire targets and improves overall shot placement. The reduction in felt recoil also contributes to less shooter fatigue, allowing for extended practice sessions.

Before purchasing the AFTERBURNER & RAMJET, users should verify compliance with local laws regarding firearm modifications. While the product is designed to be legal for sale in all 50 states, local regulations can vary significantly. It's important to ensure that the installation of a compensator or modified barrel does not violate any state or municipal restrictions. This due diligence helps prevent legal issues and ensures responsible firearm ownership.

The installation of the AFTERBURNER & RAMJET on a Glock 17 Gen4 requires minimal tools, primarily a TORX bit, which is included. This simplifies the process, making it accessible even to those with limited technical expertise. The INTRA-LOK system's design allows for a straightforward and repeatable installation, ensuring that the components are securely attached without the need for additional specialized equipment. This ease of installation is a significant advantage for users who prioritize convenience and efficiency.
