Magpul - Sling Mount Kit TYPE 2 QD / QDM Adapter

Expand Sling Mounting Options with Ambidextrous Capability.

The Magpul Sling Mount Kit – TYPE 2 is a threaded sling mount adapter designed to add an additional push-button sling attachment point to compatible Magpul stocks. It is most commonly used to add a second mounting location opposite the factory-installed TYPE 1 sling mount found on the STR® Carbine Stock, providing greater flexibility for sling setup and ambidextrous use.

In addition, the TYPE 2 Sling Mount Kit is required when configuring ambidextrous sling swivel capability on a wide range of Magpul stocks when used in conjunction with the optional TYPE 1 Sling Mount Kit (sold separately). This makes it an essential upgrade for shooters running QD or QDM swivels on both sides of their rifle or shotgun stock.
