Description

Building on the proven MBUS Pro platform, the MBUS Pro Offset Sights offer a fully-featured backup iron sighting system designed to supplement magnified optics on M1913 Picatinny mounting surfaces. In the event of a damaged or nonfunctional primary optic, or for engaging close targets, simply rotate the rifle 45 degrees to access these offset iron sights. The MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight is built with durable, corrosion-resistant steel and features tool-less elevation adjustment for rapid zeroing.

With positive detents, the sight locks securely in place when deployed and folds into a low-profile, snag-free design when stowed, ensuring minimal interference with other rifle accessories. This makes the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight a reliable addition to any rifle setup.

Made in the USA, these sights are a versatile and high-quality backup option for professional and tactical shooters.

What materials are used in the construction of the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight?

The MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight is constructed from case-hardened steel with a QPQ salt bath nitride finish. This construction provides maximum durability and corrosion resistance, making it suitable for harsh environments. The robust material ensures that the sight can withstand significant wear and tear, but users should still perform regular maintenance checks to prevent potential issues over time.

Is the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight compatible with all rifles?

The MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight is designed to mount on any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny or STANAG 4694 rail. It is compatible with most rifle setups, including those with receiver-height gas blocks. However, it is only compatible with the MBUS Pro OFFSET Rear sight (MAG526), so ensure your setup includes this rear sight for optimal performance.

How does the low-profile design of the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight benefit users?

The low-profile design of the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight minimizes interference with other rifle accessories. When stowed, it folds into a snag-free profile, reducing the risk of catching on gear or clothing. This design is particularly advantageous in tactical situations where mobility and speed are crucial. However, users should ensure that their rifle's accessory layout does not obstruct the sight when deployed.

What are the advantages of using a 45-degree offset sight like the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight?

A 45-degree offset sight like the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight allows for quick transition between magnified optics and iron sights. This is particularly useful for engaging close targets without removing your primary optics. The offset design maintains a standard AR height over bore, ensuring consistency in sight alignment. However, users should practice transitioning between sights to become proficient in its use during high-pressure situations.

Can the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight be used in all weather conditions?

Yes, the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight is built to withstand various weather conditions due to its durable construction. The corrosion-resistant steel and nitride finish protect against rust and environmental damage, making it suitable for use in rain, snow, and humid conditions. However, regular cleaning and maintenance are recommended to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

How does the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight integrate with existing optics?

Its minimal rail space requirement of less than 0.66 inches allows it to fit alongside most optics setups. This integration ensures that users can maintain their preferred optics configuration while having a reliable backup sighting option readily available.

What are the maintenance requirements for the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight?

Regular maintenance of the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight involves cleaning and checking for any signs of wear or damage. Given its steel construction, it is important to keep the sight free from debris and moisture to prevent corrosion. Regularly inspect the sight for any loose components and ensure the elevation adjustment knob functions smoothly. Proper maintenance will help ensure the sight remains reliable in critical situations.

How does the MBUS Pro Offset Front Sight enhance tactical readiness?
