The KA-BAR® Backpack Kaster is an American-made, lightweight fishing system designed for outdoor enthusiasts. Weighing just 0.25 lb, this compact fishing tool is perfect for tagging along on your hiking, camping, or backpacking adventures. Made from durable Ultramid®, the Backpack Kaster is comprised of three main components. The handle, inspired by the iconic KA-BAR USMC Fighting/Utility Knife, includes a hollow storage compartment for extra line and lures. The head is where the fishing line attaches, and a plastic clamp secures the line when not in use.
Note: Fishing line and lure not included. The KA-BAR® Backpack Kaster holds the following fishing lines:
- 8 lbs = 100 yds @ .011" diameter
- 10 lbs = 90 yds @ .012" diameter
