Geissele Automatics – Airborne Charging Handle ACH® 5.56 AR-15

The Geissele Airborne Charging Handle (ACH®) is a low-profile, ambidextrous charging handle designed for hard-use and duty rifles. Precision 3D-machined from a solid block of aircraft-grade 7075-T6 aluminum, the ACH delivers strength, smooth operation, and enhanced ergonomics in demanding environments.

The ambidextrous design allows seamless manipulation from either side of the rifle, making it ideal for both right- and left-handed shooters. Dual-contoured levers—modeled after the M14 charging handle—feature radius cuts on both the X and Y axes, creating a natural, comfortable pull.

The checkered gripping surface provides positive traction when operating with gloves or in wet conditions. A raised rear lip helps mitigate gas blowback to the shooter, an important advantage for short-barreled rifles and suppressed setups.

Unlike the Super Charging Handle, the ACH features a reduced-profile lever design to minimize snagging on gear, plate carriers, or chest rigs—making it an excellent choice for airborne, patrol, and streamlined rifle configurations.

Finished with a Type III hardcoat anodizing, the ACH is available in Black or DDC (Desert Dirt Color) for long-lasting durability and corrosion resistance.
