While the lightweight nature of the Butler Creek Comfort V-Grip Sling offers ease of carry, there are some tradeoffs to consider. A lighter sling may not provide the same level of padding as heavier models, which could be a consideration for those carrying heavier firearms over long distances. Additionally, while it is durable, the lightweight material may not offer the same level of abrasion resistance as thicker, heavier slings. Users should weigh these factors based on their specific needs and usage scenarios.

This material maintains its grip even when wet, preventing the firearm from slipping off your shoulder. While the sling is designed to handle various weather conditions, regular maintenance and care will help preserve its performance over time.

However, it's important to ensure that the sling is securely attached to prevent accidental detachment during use.

Maintaining the Butler Creek Comfort V-Grip Sling involves regular inspection and cleaning. Users should periodically check the sling for signs of wear or damage, particularly after exposure to harsh conditions. Cleaning the sling with mild soap and water can help remove dirt and debris that may affect its performance. Ensuring that the sling is thoroughly dried after cleaning will prevent moisture damage and extend its lifespan.
