Butler Creek - Comfort Stretch Firearm Sling with Swivel - Realtree

The Butler Creek Comfort Stretch Firearm Sling is constructed from soft, flexible closed cell neoprene. This material is chosen for its ability to reduce the felt weight on your shoulder, making it much more comfortable for extended use. Neoprene is also known for its durability and resistance to environmental factors, which is essential for outdoor activities like hunting and hiking. The sling's Comfort Stretch backing adds to its snug fit, ensuring that it stays in place even during vigorous movement.

The Comfort Stretch feature of the Butler Creek Firearm Sling provides a snug and secure fit. It is designed to stretch slightly under load, which helps to distribute the weight of the firearm more evenly across your shoulder. This can significantly reduce fatigue during long treks, making it an excellent choice for hunters and hikers who need to carry their firearms over extended periods. The stretch also helps in maintaining balance and stability, which is crucial when navigating through rough terrain.

The Realtree Xtra camo pattern is designed to provide effective camouflage in various environments. It uses a combination of natural colors and realistic patterns to blend seamlessly with wooded and forested areas. This makes it ideal for hunters who need to remain undetected by wildlife. The pattern is versatile enough to be effective in different seasons and lighting conditions, enhancing the user's ability to stay concealed while on the move.

The non-slip Grippers on the Butler Creek Comfort Stretch Sling are designed to keep the sling firmly in place. These Grippers are strategically placed to prevent the sling from sliding off your shoulder, which can be particularly beneficial when navigating uneven or challenging terrain. This feature ensures that the firearm remains stable and secure, reducing the need for constant adjustments and allowing you to focus more on your surroundings and less on your gear.

The quick detach swivels on the Butler Creek Comfort Stretch Sling provide easy attachment and detachment. These strong metal swivels are designed for rapid transitions, which can be crucial in situations where speed is of the essence. Whether you're setting up camp or responding to a sudden change in your environment, the ability to quickly remove or attach your firearm can be a significant advantage. This feature also adds to the overall versatility of the sling, making it suitable for a wide range of activities.

The Butler Creek Comfort Stretch Sling is designed to be versatile and can accommodate a variety of firearms. Its quick detach swivels are compatible with most standard sling mounts, making it easy to attach to rifles, shotguns, and other long guns. However, it's always important to ensure that your firearm's sling mounts are compatible with the sling's swivels to guarantee a secure fit. This adaptability makes it a practical choice for hunters and outdoor enthusiasts who use different firearms across various activities.

The Butler Creek Comfort Stretch Sling is built to withstand wet and harsh weather conditions. The neoprene material is resistant to moisture, which helps prevent it from becoming waterlogged and heavy. Additionally, the non-slip Grippers maintain their effectiveness even when wet, ensuring that the sling stays securely in place. This makes it a reliable choice for outdoor activities in diverse climates, where weather conditions can change rapidly.

The Butler Creek Comfort Stretch Sling offers adjustability to fit different body sizes and carrying preferences. The sling can be lengthened or shortened to suit the user's comfort and specific carrying style. This adjustability is crucial for ensuring that the firearm is carried at the most comfortable and accessible position, whether over the shoulder or across the body. Proper adjustment can also enhance the effectiveness of the non-slip Grippers, providing a more secure fit.

When using the Butler Creek Comfort Stretch Sling in rugged environments, certain precautions can enhance its longevity and performance. It's important to regularly inspect the quick detach swivels for any signs of wear or damage, as these are critical for secure attachment. Additionally, ensuring that the neoprene material is clean and free from debris will help maintain its elasticity and comfort. While the sling is designed for durability, avoiding excessive exposure to sharp objects and rough surfaces can prevent unnecessary wear.

The Butler Creek Comfort Stretch Sling contributes to firearm safety by providing a secure and stable carrying solution. By keeping the firearm close to the body and reducing movement, the sling minimizes the risk of accidental discharge or damage during transport. The non-slip Grippers and adjustable length ensure that the firearm remains in a controlled position, which is essential for maintaining safety in both urban and wilderness settings. This stability is particularly important when navigating crowded or challenging environments.
