Timney Triggers - Alpha Competition Trigger for Glock Gen 5 - Orange

The Timney Alpha Competition Trigger enhances shooting performance by providing a crisp and consistent trigger break. With a factory pull weight of 3 pounds, it allows for precise shot placement, which is crucial in competitive shooting scenarios. The reduced friction from the Teflon nickel (NP3) coating ensures a smooth operation, enabling shooters to focus on accuracy without the distraction of a heavy or gritty trigger pull.

The Teflon nickel (NP3) coating on the Timney Alpha Competition Trigger significantly reduces friction between moving parts. This results in a smoother trigger pull and enhances the overall reliability of the trigger system. By minimizing the need for lubrication, it also simplifies maintenance, making it ideal for high-volume shooting where consistent performance is required without frequent cleaning.

The Timney Alpha Competition Trigger is designed to be compatible with all stock Glock Gen 5 models. It maintains compatibility with the original Glock parts and springs, ensuring that the installation process is straightforward and does not require any modifications to the firearm. This makes it a convenient upgrade for competitive shooters looking to enhance their Glock's performance.

Installing the Timney Alpha Competition Trigger in a Glock Gen 5 does not require gunsmithing skills. The trigger is designed for easy installation, allowing users to upgrade their firearm with minimal tools and experience. This user-friendly design means that even those new to firearm modifications can confidently install the trigger and enjoy its benefits in a competitive setting.

The external safety blade on the Timney Alpha Competition Trigger adds an additional layer of safety by preventing accidental discharges. It requires deliberate engagement to activate the trigger, ensuring that the firearm only discharges when intended. This safety feature is particularly important in competitive environments where quick reflexes are necessary, providing peace of mind without compromising speed.

In competitive shooting, the Timney Alpha Competition Trigger provides a distinct advantage by offering a lighter and more consistent trigger pull. This allows shooters to achieve faster follow-up shots and improved accuracy under pressure. The smooth operation and crisp break help in maintaining focus and control during rapid sequences, which is essential for success in competitions.

The Timney Alpha Competition Trigger is suitable for Glock Gen 5 pistols chambered in 9 mm and .40 S&W. This compatibility ensures that users of these popular calibers can experience the benefits of the trigger's enhanced performance. Whether you're participating in a local match or a national competition, this trigger can help you achieve better results with these calibers.

The Timney Alpha Competition Trigger is engineered for durability and reliability, having been tested with 10,000 rounds without oiling or cleaning. This rigorous testing ensures that the trigger can withstand extensive use in competitive environments without malfunctioning. The use of high-quality materials and coatings further contributes to its long-lasting performance, making it a dependable choice for serious shooters.

The Timney Alpha Competition Trigger features a vibrant orange color, adding a unique aesthetic to your Glock Gen 5. This distinctive appearance not only enhances the visual appeal of the firearm but also allows for quick identification of the trigger in a competitive setup. The color, combined with the external safety blade, provides both style and functionality, making it a popular choice among competitive shooters.

The Timney Alpha Competition Trigger is specifically designed for competition use, where a lighter trigger pull is advantageous. In non-competitive scenarios, such as self-defense or duty use, a heavier trigger pull is often preferred for safety reasons. The light pull weight of this trigger may not be suitable for those environments, as it could increase the risk of accidental discharge under stress.
