How to Use Bear Spray:

• Ensure the bear spray’s safety mechanism is in place to prevent accidental discharge.
• Insert your index finger through the handle hole and use your thumb to pull the safety tab straight back.
• Hold the canister with your lower arms about 6-10 inches from your body.
• Aim at a 45-60 degree angle, pointing downward toward the bear, to avoid spraying over its head.
• Press down on the actuator with your thumb to release the spray, creating a protective barrier between you and the bear.
• Spray continuously for at least 3 seconds, considering wind and other environmental factors, and adjust your aim if necessary before spraying again.
• The bear spray has a range of 30-35 feet, providing ample distance for safe use.
