The Haley Strategic Thorax Plate Carrier (Plate Bags) is a full-featured, mission-adaptable armor platform built from decades of operational experience and modern materials. Designed for overt duty use, dynamic movement, and extended wear, the Thorax plate bags form the foundation of a scalable armor system capable of supporting virtually any mission set.

Engineered for comfort and durability, the Thorax Plate Bags incorporate a thermoformed backer pad and padded Airborne, Maritime, and Pursuit (A.M.P.) chin protector to improve airflow, reduce hot spots, and enhance comfort during prolonged operations. Four-way stretch expanding gussets allow the carrier to securely accommodate United States Standard Issue SAPI and ESAPI plates ranging from 0.75” to 1.125” thick.

Made in the USA from USA-sourced materials, the Thorax Plate Carrier is Berry Compliant and constructed to professional-duty standards.

The Thorax Plate Bags are compatible with most VELCRO® Brand hook-and-loop entry systems and are optimized for use with Haley Strategic Thorax Cummerbunds, Side Entry Panels, Chicken Straps, and Incog Elastic Cummerbunds (all sold separately). This modular architecture allows end users to tailor fit, mobility, and load carriage to specific operational requirements.

The carrier integrates seamlessly with all Haley Strategic chest rigs and placards, all FlatPack models, and any standard chest rig or placard utilizing 1-inch buckles and hook-and-loop front panel attachment.
