The Daniel Defense RIS III Rail Interface System continues the legacy of the battle-proven RIS II—trusted by U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) since 2006—while reducing weight and adding modern M-LOK versatility. This 13" FSP (Front Sight Post) configuration is engineered for rifles retaining a fixed front sight, delivering a free-float barrel design with an uninterrupted upper rail and Mil-Spec 1913 Picatinny interface.

Machined from aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, the RIS III FSP features seven M-LOK attachment positions along the handguard and integral QD sling swivel attachment points on both sides. The proven 6-bolt Bolt-Up System and Grade 8 fasteners provide exceptional rigidity and repeatability under hard use.

Backward Compatibility
