The Daniel Defense RIS III Rail Interface System evolves the legendary two-piece RIS II platform—trusted by U.S. Special Operations Command (SOCOM) since 2006—by reducing weight and adding modern M-LOK modularity. The RIS III maintains the same free-float barrel design, aircraft-grade aluminum construction, and uninterrupted Mil-Spec 1913 upper rail that made the RIS II a benchmark for duty-grade handguards.

With seven M-LOK attachment positions along the handguard and integral QD sling swivel attachment points on both sides, the RIS III delivers enhanced versatility for modern accessories while retaining Daniel Defense’s proven rigidity and mounting strength.
