The 7.62 Single Mag Insert w/ MP2 from Haley Strategic delivers secure, low-profile magazine retention for larger-caliber platforms where reliability and efficiency are critical. Outfitted with a proprietary MP2 insert, it provides positive retention for nearly all 7.62 magazines—including MCX-SPEAR / XM7, 7.62x35, and many 7.62x39 magazines—without the need for bungee cords, buckles, or hook-and-loop flaps.

The MP2 system offers audible and tactile click-in feedback, ensuring confident insertion, smooth draws, and fast reindexing during tactical reloads. Designed for direct integration with the Haley Strategic Micro Chest Rig (D3CRM), this insert allows users to build scalable, mission-specific loadouts while maintaining a streamlined chest rig profile.

The MP2 insert is fully removable, allowing the pouch to be repurposed for alternate equipment such as radios, laser range finders, or compact medical kits.
