The MP2 Rifle Magazine Insert is designed as life-support equipment for serious use. Built for speed, retention, and reliability, the MP2 provides secure, click-in magazine retention without pull tabs, bungees, or noisy hook-and-loop flaps.

Injection molded from a proprietary copolymer material, the MP2 offers superior durability, tensile strength, and resistance to corrosion and stress cracking when compared to common thermoplastics such as HDPE or Tegris. The result is a rigid yet forgiving insert that delivers smooth, consistent draws while still allowing rapid reindexing of partial magazines during tactical reloads.

The intuitive retention design provides both audible and tactile feedback when magazines are seated, ensuring confidence under stress. MP2 Inserts are purpose-built for chest rigs, placards, and magazine pouches used in professional, defensive, and preparedness environments.

Compatibility: MP2 Inserts are directly compatible with all Haley Strategic chest rigs and placards, including the X Chest Rig, Heavy Chest Rig, Triple Rifle Mag Placard (all models), and Single Rifle Mag Pouch.

Break-In Note: Retention is intentionally strong out of the box and will naturally loosen with use. To accelerate break-in, install MP2s in a chest rig and place in direct sunlight for 2–4 hours.

Important Fitment Note: MP2 Inserts are not directly compatible with the Micro Chest Rig without the use of a Micro Insert (sold separately).
