Built with the warfighter in mind, this bolt catch provides increased surface area and improved ergonomics for faster, more reliable bolt manipulation—especially under stress, in low light, or while wearing gloves.

Designed to work with any mil-spec M16/M4 lower receiver, the Maritime Bolt Catch allows shooters to lock back or release the bolt more easily during reloads and malfunction clearing. The extended controls significantly improve usability for left-handed shooters, allowing bolt operation without breaking grip or changing hand position.

Aggressive checkering across the contact surfaces provides positive tactile feedback, ensuring confident operation during night shooting, adverse weather, or gloved use. Manufactured from properly heat-treated 8620 steel and finished with a manganese phosphate coating, this bolt catch is built to meet or exceed mil-spec durability standards.

Important Notes:
A mil-spec bolt catch spring and plunger are required for installation and are not included. If replacing an existing mil-spec bolt catch, reuse the original spring and plunger. Compatibility with billet AR-15 lowers is unknown. The extended controls may partially cover the hammer pin hole—use a smaller punch if needed and install the hammer pin from the right side only.
