Important Note on Breathing System:

This is a negative-pressure system, meaning the child must use the strength of their lungs to pull clean, filtered air into the mask. This differs from a positive-pressure system, which uses a fan to push filtered air into the mask, easing the breathing process. A positive-pressure system can be achieved with the 3M-3M gas mask hood and MIRA Safety MB-90 PAPR (Powered Air-Purifying Respirator), sold separately.

Usage Note:

Children must pass a “balloon” test to ensure they can safely use a negative-pressure gas mask. Use of a Powered Air-Purifying Respirator (PAPR) is highly recommended to reduce breathing resistance and fatigue during extended use. Filters and accessories sold separately.
