The Cold Steel Steel Tiger is a modern tactical evolution of the traditional Indonesian Karambit, engineered for maximum efficiency and reliability in high-stress environments. Designed by Lynn C. Thompson in collaboration with the late custom knife maker Steven Likarich, this blade merges the iconic curved shape of the Karambit with cutting-edge materials and practical enhancements for the modern user.
The deeply curved 4-3/4" blade is forged from Japanese AUS8A stainless steel, vacuum heat-treated, sub-zero quenched, and given a rugged stonewashed finish. This combination delivers exceptional edge retention, slicing power, and durability. The 5" Griv-Ex™ handle, over-molded with premium Kray-Ex™, offers a non-slip, ergonomic grip with integrated thumb-shelf, bolster, and a secure finger ring for total control—even in wet or cold conditions.
Included with the Steel Tiger is a military-grade Secure-Ex® sheath, equipped with a removable boot/belt clip and multiple lashing options for versatile carry on your person or gear.
