This 4mm base pad is crafted to enhance the capacity of your magazines, making it an ideal choice for competitive shooting. It is particularly recommended for 140mm magazines, bringing the capacity from 20 rounds to 22 rounds with the factory spring and follower, while still fitting the USPSA 140mm gauge. For those seeking even more capacity, using Taran Tactical's thin competition follower and extra power 11 coil spring can increase the capacity to 23 rounds, though it will not lock the slide to the rear on the last round fired.

The base pad is set with Loctite® to ensure optimal tension, minimizing the need for adjustments. Users are advised against tightening the base pad screw, as it is set with Loctite® and forcing it may result in stripping. Taran Tactical does not warranty base pads for stripped heads on set screws or pins lost due to tampering.

This base pad is compatible with a variety of 2011 style magazines, including those from Staccato, Infinity, Springfield Prodigy, Atlas, and MBX. It is also compatible with Bul Armory SAS II pistols. The product may require minor fitting adjustments due to variations in magazine tube dimensions from different manufacturers.

Key Features

Model: 4mm mid-profile extension

Color: Red

Increases Capacity: From 20 to 22 rounds with factory spring and follower

Additional Capacity: Up to 23 rounds with thin competition follower and extra power spring

Compatibility: Fits STI/SV 2011 style magazines, Bul Armory SAS II

USPSA Gauge Fit: Fits 140mm gauge

Durability: Set with Loctite® for optimal tension

Minor Fitting: May be required due to magazine tube variances

Specifications

Color: Red

Model: 4mm

Type: Magazine Extension

SubCategory: Magazine Parts

Product UPC: 810003108630
