This base pad is crafted to enhance magazine capacity while maintaining compliance with USPSA regulations. The 4mm extension increases the magazine's capacity from 20 to 22 rounds using the factory spring and follower. For those seeking even greater capacity, the use of Taran Tactical's thin competition follower and extra power 11 coil spring can boost capacity to 23 rounds, though it will not lock the slide back on the last round.

Constructed in a sleek Titanium Gray finish, this base pad not only offers functionality but also adds a stylish touch to your magazine. The set screws are pre-treated with Loctite to ensure they remain secure, minimizing the need for adjustments. However, users are advised not to tighten the base pad screw further to avoid stripping. The design is compatible with all 2011 style magazines, though minor fitting may be required due to variances in magazine tube dimensions.

For competition shooters, this base pad is a valuable addition, providing increased capacity without exceeding the 140mm gauge. It is ideal for those participating in USPSA competitions, offering a reliable and efficient way to maximize magazine potential.

Key Features

Model: 4mm mid-profile extension

Color: Titanium Gray

Compatibility: Staccato, Infinity, Springfield Prodigy, Atlas, 2011 style magazines

Capacity Increase: From 20 to 22 rounds with factory spring and follower

Optional Capacity: Up to 23 rounds with thin competition follower and extra power spring

USPSA Compliance: Fits 140mm gauge

Construction: Durable design with pre-treated Loctite set screws

Fitting Note: May require minor fitting due to mag tube variances

Specifications

Color Options: Titanium Gray

SubCategory: Magazine Parts

Type: Magazine Extension

Product UPC: 810003108654
