This particular model, the 4mm extension, is tailored for the Staccato/Infinity/Springfield Prodigy/Atlas/Infinity 9/38 2011 style magazines. It is recommended for use with 140mm magazines, increasing the capacity from 20 to 22 rounds using the factory spring and follower while still fitting within the USPSA 140mm gauge.

For those seeking even greater capacity, the 4mm base pad can be paired with Taran Tactical's thin competition follower and extra power 11 coil spring, boosting the capacity to 23 rounds. However, note that this configuration will not lock the slide to the rear on the last round fired. The base pad features a set screw secured with Loctite, ensuring stability without the need for adjustment.

While the 4mm base pad is compatible with all 2011 style magazines, minor fitting may be required due to variances in magazine tube dimensions across different manufacturers and generations. Buffing the sharp edges of the magazine lips may also be necessary to ensure a proper fit within the gauge.

Key Features

Color: Blue

Model: 4mm mid-profile extension

Increases capacity from 20 to 22 rounds with factory spring and follower

Compatible with Staccato/Infinity/Springfield Prodigy/Atlas/Infinity 9/38 2011 style magazines

Fits USPSA 140mm gauge

Optional configuration for 23 rounds with thin competition follower and extra power spring

Set screw secured with Loctite for stability

May require minor fitting to magazine tubes

Warning: Contains chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm

Specifications

Color Options: Blue

Type: Magazine Extension

SubCategory: Magazine Parts

Product UPC: 810003108623
